Cox’s Bazar & Jhalokathi, Sept 28 (V7N) – Two separate tragic incidents claimed lives in Bangladesh on Sunday, highlighting road and electrical safety concerns in local communities.
In Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar, a head-on collision between a covered van and a motorcycle left two men dead and another seriously injured. Both riders died instantly, while the injured passenger was initially taken to Teknaf Upazila Health Complex and later transferred to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital in critical condition. Teknaf police confirmed the incident and seized the van involved in the crash.
Meanwhile, in Kathalia, Jhalokathi, a 40-year-old man, Al Amin Khalifa, suffered fatal electrocution while planting saplings near the Upazila Health Complex in Amua Union.
