Dhaka, Aug 12 (V7N)- BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that Arafat Rahman Koko had to sacrifice his life amid the ultimate manifestation of fascism.
Rizvi made the remarks on Wednesday while paying tribute to Arafat Rahman Koko, the youngest son of late President Ziaur Rahman and former sports organizer, at his grave on the occasion of Koko's 57th birthday.
He alleged that fugitive convict Sheikh Hasina had subjected the family of freedom fighter Ziaur Rahman to various forms of torture.
Rizvi said the fascist government had systematically attempted to destroy Ziaur Rahman's successors because they belonged to a family of freedom fighters.
He further alleged that Sheikh Hasina could not accept the patriotism of the Zia family.
