Dhaka, Aug 26 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast gusty winds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms, in five districts of the country.
According to a warning issued for inland river ports, the adverse weather may continue until 1:00 pm on Wednesday (August 26).
The Meteorological Department said temporary rain or thunderstorms, along with gusty or squally winds of 45–60 km/h, may blow from the south or southeast over Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Chattogram and Cox's Bazar regions.
In view of the forecast, the concerned river ports have been advised to display warning signal number 1 from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Authorities have advised vessels operating in the affected areas to remain cautious during the period.
