Teknaf, Oct 05 (V7N) – Extensive preparations have been made in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar ahead of the visit of Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popularly known as Charmonai Pir, on Monday.
The visit has generated enthusiasm among leaders, activists and supporters of Islami Andolan Bangladesh and its affiliated organisations in the area.
According to local party leaders, Charmonai Pir is scheduled to reach Teknaf from Cox’s Bazar via the Marine Drive road around noon.
After arriving in Teknaf, he will hold an exchange of views with teachers and students of Al-Jameya Islamia Teknaf Madrasa.
Later in the afternoon, he is scheduled to attend an Olama-Mashaekh conference.
In the evening, he will deliver a religious address at the Teknaf Eidgah Maidan, according to the programme schedule.
Leaders and activists of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Islami Jubo Andolan and Islami Chhatra Andolan have taken preparations to welcome their party chief.
The visit has also drawn interest among madrasa teachers and students and his followers in the area.
Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim has continued as the ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh following the party’s formation of a new central committee in June 2026.
