TEHRAN March 31 (V7N) — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a statement Tuesday warning that they would target leading US technology firms if more Iranian leaders were killed in what they described as “targeted assassinations.”
The Guards listed 18 companies, including Apple, Google, Meta, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Tesla, Palantir, and Nvidia, alleging they were complicit in operations against Iranian officials. The statement advised employees of these firms to leave their workplaces from 8:00 pm Tehran time on April 1, claiming reciprocal action would follow “for every assassination in Iran.”
The warning comes amid escalating conflict. Since late February, several top Iranian figures — including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Guards commander‑in‑chief Mohammad Pakpour, and security chief Ali Larijani — have been killed in strikes attributed to the US and Israel. Washington and Tel Aviv say the campaign has dealt a major blow to Iran, though analysts note the republic has shown resilience.
The Guards accused US tech giants of being “main elements in designing and tracking assassination targets,” saying repeated warnings had been ignored. They did not specify where retaliatory action might occur but advised residents near company facilities in the region to move to safety.
The statement followed reports earlier in March that Amazon data centres in the UAE and Bahrain were struck by drones. On Tuesday, Iran’s army also claimed its drones targeted communications and industrial centres in Israel, including facilities linked to Siemens near the international airport and AT&T in Haifa. Israeli authorities have not confirmed the strikes.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said he was pursuing diplomacy to end the conflict but also threatened to intensify the US‑Israeli campaign against Iran.
The developments underscore the widening scope of the confrontation, extending beyond military targets to include technology and infrastructure sectors.
