Washington, D.C., April 30 (V7N) — U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States achieved a military victory against an unnamed adversary, widely interpreted as Iran, during remarks made while hosting Britain’s King Charles III on an official visit.

Although Trump did not explicitly mention Iran in his statement, he referred to defeating “that particular adversary” through military means. “We have defeated that specific opponent militarily,” he said.

The U.S. president further emphasized that the United States and the United Kingdom would continue to work together against communism, fascism, and authoritarian forces. Reiterating Washington’s long-standing position on nuclear non-proliferation, Trump stated that Iran would not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons. “We will not allow that adversary to acquire nuclear weapons,” he added.

Earlier, in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump criticized Iran’s leadership, saying the country is struggling to stabilize itself and lacks the understanding of how to negotiate a non-nuclear agreement. He urged Tehran to act “smart” and move quickly.

The post was accompanied by an AI-generated image depicting Trump holding a firearm against a backdrop of explosions. The image included the caption: “No more Mr. Nice Guy!”

Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran over security, regional influence, and nuclear policy, though no recent official confirmation of direct military confrontation has been publicly detailed by U.S. authorities.
