Tehran, Apr 30 (V7N) — Thousands of people gathered in the Iranian capital following a new warning issued by the United States against Iran on the social media platform Truth Social, according to Al Jazeera.

The demonstrations were held at Imam Hussein Square and Azadi Square in the capital Tehran, where large crowds expressed support for Iran’s leadership.

Participants carried Iranian flags and placards while chanting slogans against the United States and Israel, demanding their withdrawal from the Middle East. Protesters also called for an end to US pressure measures and the lifting of restrictions affecting Iran’s ports and economy.

The rallies included expressions of support for both current and former Iranian leadership, reflecting strong domestic backing amid rising geopolitical tensions.

Similar demonstrations were also reported in several other cities across Iran on the same day.

The developments come amid heightened regional tensions and continued diplomatic friction between Tehran and Washington.
