Dhaka, Feb 05 (V7N) — With the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum just five days away, election campaigning has entered its final and most intense phase. The last moments before the polls are proving crucial for mass communication, keeping candidates extremely busy across the country.
Since Thursday morning, candidates in the capital Dhaka have been seen running from one area to another, engaging directly with voters. At the same time, non-stop campaigning is also underway in constituencies outside the capital.
In Dhaka, independent candidate for Dhaka-9 constituency Tasnim Zara has been conducting door-to-door campaigns with her election symbol football, personally reaching out to voters. Meanwhile, BNP heavyweight leader Aminul Haque, contesting from Dhaka-16 constituency, has also remained actively engaged in mass communication since the morning.
Several other candidates in different Dhaka constituencies were also seen knocking on doors, exchanging greetings, and presenting their election promises directly to voters.
Outside the capital, a similar picture is visible. Candidates are visiting neighborhoods, marketplaces, and homes, trying to win voter confidence through direct interaction and last-minute appeals.
As campaigning reaches its climax, candidates are leaving no stone unturned to secure public support. However, the final verdict will be known on February 12, the day voters cast their ballots and decide whose messages have truly touched their hearts.
