Dhaka, Jan 04 (V7N) — Leaders of the Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council held a meeting with BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Saturday night at the party’s Gulshan office.

Professor Dr. Moudud Hossain Al Mamun Pavel, head of BNP Media Cell, confirmed to the media that the discussion focused on national unity and communal harmony. During the meeting, Tarique Rahman emphasized that he does not support any division or discrimination against minority communities.

The leaders of the Unity Council discussed various issues concerning the welfare and protection of minority groups in Bangladesh, and Tarique Rahman assured them of BNP’s commitment to inclusivity and equal rights for all citizens.

This meeting reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen interfaith dialogue and address concerns of minority communities within the country’s political framework.
