Dhaka, Nov 06 (V7N)- Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) will recruit 112 skilled male workers for employment in Malaysia without charging candidates any official migration costs.
The workers will be recruited as Operations Assistants and Technical Skill Workers at DHL Supply Chain (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., with a monthly basic salary of RM1,700 for both positions.
According to a recruitment notice issued by BOESL on Thursday, online applications will open at 10am on November 6 and close at 4pm on November 8.
Eligibility and qualifications
Applicants for the Operations Assistant position must have at least an SSC or equivalent qualification. Candidates with vocational education or higher degrees will receive preference.
Applicants must be able to read, write and communicate in English, have basic computer skills—particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel—and possess good mathematical abilities.
The position also requires practical experience of one to two years, the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and adapt to a multinational working environment. Applicants must be physically capable of performing warehouse duties. Experience operating forklifts, power pallet trucks and reach trucks will be considered an additional qualification.
For the Technical Skill Worker position, applicants must have at least an HSC or equivalent qualification. Candidates with vocational, polytechnic or bachelor's degrees and experience in electrical-related subjects will receive preference.
Applicants must have a good understanding of warehouse network cabling, racking systems and IT equipment. Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel proficiency, are mandatory. They must also be able to communicate in English and read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Employment conditions and benefits
Applicants for both positions must be aged between 22 and 35.
The working schedule will be eight hours a day, six days a week. The employment contract will be for three years, with the possibility of renewal. Overtime opportunities will be available in accordance with company requirements and Malaysian labour laws.
The employer will provide accommodation, first aid and transportation. Applicants must have passports valid for at least 18 to 24 months, while a valid driving licence will be considered an additional qualification.
Candidates with relevant work experience in Bangladesh or abroad, particularly in warehouse operations, will receive preference. Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected.
Application and selection process
Interested candidates must apply through the designated BOESL online portal, providing their passport numbers, educational qualifications, work experience and other required information.
Each applicant may apply for only one position.
Initially, 300 applicants will be shortlisted through a software-based lottery, and the list will be published on the BOESL website. Company representatives will then conduct technical and oral examinations to select the final 112 workers.
Candidates invited for interviews must bring four recent colour passport-sized photographs with white backgrounds, colour photocopies of all passports if they hold multiple passports, original educational and experience certificates, their national identity cards and updated CVs.
The CV must clearly mention computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel proficiency, mathematical abilities, driving licence details and any previous overseas or warehouse work experience.
BOESL warns against financial transactions
BOESL has warned applicants that submitting an online application, attending an interview or reaching the final selection stage does not guarantee employment.
The authority said the employer or its authorised representatives would make the final recruitment decisions.
It also stressed that selected candidates would not have to pay any money at any stage of the recruitment process. Applicants have therefore been advised not to make financial transactions with any individual or organisation in connection with the recruitment.
