Dhaka, Nov 06 (V7N)- No rainfall is expected in Dhaka and its surrounding areas over the next six hours, although the sky may remain temporarily partly cloudy, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said.

In its forecast issued for the period from 1pm on Friday, the department said the weather would remain mainly dry, with a slight increase in daytime temperatures.

Winds may blow from the west or northwest at speeds of 6 to 12 kilometres per hour across the capital and neighbouring areas.

The department recorded Dhaka's temperature at 24.9 degrees Celsius at 6am on Friday, with relative humidity at 78 per cent.
