Dhaka, Aug 30 (V7N) – The 13th Youth Summit organized by Bangladesh Islami Charta Shibir was held on Friday at the Shaheed Abu Saeed International Convention Center in Shahbagh, Dhaka. The summit aimed at fostering a new generation of capable and dedicated youth to lead the nation and the world in the future.
 
The event, conducted under the direction of Hafiz Yusuf Islahi, the Central College Activities Secretary, featured key speeches and discussions on leadership, education, and youth empowerment. The chief guest, Zahidul Islam, emphasized that the summit would mark a significant milestone in the journey of fulfilling one’s dreams. "The goal of this summit is to create a generation of skilled, competent, and patriotic young citizens who will lead the world in the coming years," he said.
 
Islam further highlighted the importance of open discussions, mutual understanding, education, leadership, commitment to the Ummah, and a clean lifestyle as key takeaways from the summit. He also affirmed that Islami Charta Shibir would continue to play a supportive role in guiding the youth on this journey.
 
Addressing the attendees, Zahidul Islam urged the youth to renew their drive for success through the summit. "There is no alternative to gaining competence and skill if we are to lead the world. At the same time, spiritual alignment must be integrated into this pursuit," he stated.
 
Charta Shibir President called for a balance between intellectual ability and moral integrity to guide the nation towards the desired leadership. He urged the participants to commit themselves to address the current crisis in intellect and morality.
 
The summit brought together selected students from across the country who had achieved GPA-5 in their SSC/Dakhil exams and are currently studying in the 12th grade in Science, Business, and Humanities streams. The summit provided career sessions, academic discussions, panel discussions, skill development workshops, time management tips, leadership building strategies, and guidance on the future of the Muslim Ummah.
 
Among the distinguished guests were former Secretary General of Charta Shibir, Barrister Nazrul Islam, current Secretary General Nurul Islam Saddam, teachers, researchers, cultural figures, and leaders from the central secretariat and various universities in Dhaka.
 
The event was seen as a step toward shaping the future of the youth in line with the ideals of leadership, ethics, and social responsibility.
