Dhaka, Nov 24 (V7N)- Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay left Dhaka on Monday morning (November 24), wrapping up his three-day state visit to Bangladesh.

He was seen off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain and Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin.

Prime Minister Tobgay arrived in Dhaka on Saturday, where he was received by the Chief Advisor and accorded a guard of honor. He later visited the National Memorial in Savar, paying tribute to the martyrs and planting a tree sapling.

During the visit, the Bhutanese Premier paid a courtesy call on President Md. Shahabuddin. He also held separate meetings with Foreign Affairs Advisor Towhid Hossain and Commerce Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin.

Prime Minister Tobgay met with the Chief Advisor on Saturday, where both sides conducted a comprehensive review of bilateral relations. The discussions emphasized strengthening cooperation in trade, connectivity, economic partnership, and people-to-people exchanges.

Accompanying the Bhutanese Prime Minister on the visit were Foreign Minister Lyonpo D.N. Dhungyel, Industry and Commerce Minister Lyonpo Namgyal Dorji, and several senior government officials.
