Gazipur, Oct 30 (V7N)- The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has recovered the motorcycle belonging to former Air Force Flight Lieutenant Tahsif Sauri from the Mazar Basti area in Tongi, approximately 50 yards from the Turag River.

On Friday morning (October 30), the PBI media wing informed journalists that a motorcycle had been recovered from the location and was undergoing verification. The agency later confirmed that the vehicle belonged to Tahsif Sauri.

According to the PBI, Tahsif travelled to the Mazar area in Tongi on the night of Tuesday (October 28), riding his motorcycle with a junior friend named Ahmed Shahriar Reza Deep. However, the reason for their visit remains unclear.

Tahsif had been missing since Tuesday night. His body was recovered from the Turag River the following afternoon, on Wednesday.

Before going missing, the former Air Force officer had reportedly left home at night with Deep. Speaking to the media, Deep said they had eaten together at a restaurant before he returned home.

Meanwhile, alongside the investigation being conducted by the River Police, the PBI has launched a parallel investigation into Tahsif Sauri's death.

On Thursday night, the PBI took Deep into custody for questioning as part of the investigation.
