New York, Sept 24 (V7N) – U.S. President Donald J. Trump delivered a forceful speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, describing the present era as America’s “Golden Age” and calling for global unity against terrorism, uncontrolled migration, biological warfare, and threats to cultural identity.

In his address, President Trump declared that the United States possesses the world’s strongest economy, borders, military, alliances, and national spirit. “This is truly the Golden Age of America,” he said.

The White House later described the speech as a bold rejection of “destructive globalism” that fuels endless conflict and disorder. Trump emphasized that his vision was unapologetically centered on American strength while urging sovereign nations to stand together against shared threats.

Highlighting immigration enforcement, he said that for four consecutive months, illegal border crossings had dropped to nearly zero. “Our message is very simple: if you come to the United States illegally, you will either be imprisoned or returned to where you came from.”

Trump also claimed credit for ending seven “unfinished wars” within seven months, criticizing the UN for failing to act. “It is unfortunate that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations. In every case, the UN did not even try to help,” he remarked. He questioned the UN’s effectiveness, saying it often produces “loud letters” without real action, and added, “Empty words do not stop wars.”

Addressing peace efforts, Trump dismissed calls for him to receive a Nobel Prize, saying, “The real reward is the children who grow up with their mothers and fathers because millions are no longer dying in endless, inglorious wars. I care about saving lives, not winning awards.”

He warned against allowing “the world’s number one state sponsor of terror” to acquire the most dangerous weapons, criticized moves within the UN to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state, and urged nations to demand the immediate release of hostages taken by Hamas.

The president also accused China and India of financing Russia’s war by continuing to purchase Russian oil, while criticizing NATO countries for failing to fully sever ties with Russian energy.

In a global appeal, Trump called on all nations to join the United States in permanently halting biological weapons development. He further accused the UN of not only failing to solve crises but creating new ones, claiming it funds aggression and undermines Western nations’ borders.

“Every nation is unique, and that is what makes the world beautiful,” Trump concluded. “But for that to endure, each sovereign nation must have the right to control its own borders.”

This address marked one of Trump’s most combative speeches at the UN, combining domestic policy achievements with international warnings, while reaffirming his vision of America as the central force for global stability.
