Istanbul, Oct 14 (V7N)- Barcelona produced a commanding comeback to defeat Galatasaray 4-1 at Rams Park, turning an early deficit into a convincing victory with three goals in a devastating 20-minute spell after the break.

The result could make Galatasaray midfielder Mario Lemina reconsider his pre-match comments about Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal. Lemina had said he did not know the Spanish teenager, adding that he was familiar with his club teammate Leroy Sané.

Galatasaray took the lead in the 28th minute when Alexei Batrakov found the net after receiving a cutback from Rafael Leão on the left. His effort took a deflection off Barcelona defender João Cancelo before going in.

The home side appeared to double their advantage six minutes later through Barış Alper Yılmaz, but the goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.

Barcelona equalized in the 43rd minute through Cancelo, who produced a fine finish after collecting the ball following a challenge involving Dani Olmo. The goal restored parity before halftime.

After the break, Barcelona took control. In the 50th minute, Yamal delivered a cross into the penalty area, allowing Fermín López to head home and put the visitors ahead.

Just three minutes later, Anthony Gordon extended Barcelona’s lead with another goal, further punishing Galatasaray’s defensive weaknesses.

German winger Karim Adeyemi completed the scoring in the closing stages, firing home after receiving a pass from Gabriel Jesus to seal Barcelona’s 4-1 victory.

Barcelona’s second-half attacking display proved decisive, while Galatasaray were unable to recover after conceding three goals in quick succession.
