May 04 (V7N)- The Detroit Pistons capped a stunning playoff comeback on Sunday, routing the Orlando Magic 116-94 to clinch a 4-3 series victory and secure a spot in the Eastern Conference semi-finals against Cleveland.

Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 32 points and 12 assists, while Tobias Harris added 30 points and nine rebounds. The Pistons, who trailed 3-1 in the best-of-seven series, became the 15th team in NBA history to rally from such a deficit. It was their first playoff series win since 2008. Cunningham said the comeback “feels good,” noting the team’s resilience after erasing a 24-point deficit in Game Six to force the decider.

Orlando’s Paolo Banchero scored 38 points but received little support as Detroit capitalized on 16 Magic turnovers. The Pistons pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back, building a lead that stretched to 25 points.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Toronto Raptors 114-102 in their own Game Seven. Jarrett Allen delivered a dominant performance, scoring 22 points and grabbing 19 rebounds, including 14 points in the third quarter as Cleveland outscored Toronto 38-19. Donovan Mitchell added 22 points, while veteran James Harden chipped in 18.

Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 24 points but foul trouble limited his impact in the second half. The Cavs extended their streak of Game Seven victories to five, eliminating Toronto for the fourth time in postseason history.

Detroit and Cleveland will meet in Game One of the Eastern Conference semi-finals on Tuesday, with both teams riding momentum from hard-fought series wins.
