Tangail, Feb 11 (V7N) — The Tangail District Election Office has completed all preparations for the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum scheduled to be held tomorrow.

District and Assistant Returning Officers began distributing election materials to polling stations constituency-wise from 11:00 am on Wednesday.

Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers from each polling station are receiving the election equipment from the respective Upazila Election Offices and transporting them to the polling centers with the assistance of law enforcement personnel.

According to the district election office, Tangail has eight parliamentary constituencies across 12 upazilas. A total of 1,063 polling stations have been set up in the district.

There are 3,334,427 registered voters, and 47 candidates are contesting in the election.
