Dhaka, Aug 08 (V7N) – Saiful Haque, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party, has criticized the interim government for failing to meet the people’s expectations following the July uprising.
Speaking at a discussion held at the party office in Kakrail on Friday afternoon, Saiful Haque said that despite completing one year in power, the government has yet to rehabilitate the families of martyrs and the injured. He added that some victims, who faced life-threatening situations, are still not receiving adequate medical care.
On the topic of upcoming elections, Saiful expressed concerns over the uncertain voting environment, citing the fragile law and order situation and doubts about whether voters can cast their ballots safely.
