Dhaka, Nov 05 (V7N)- Light rain may occur in parts of five divisions, including Dhaka, over the next 24 hours as a low-pressure area over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining regions continues to move north-northeast, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
In its weather bulletin issued until 6 pm on Thursday, the department said the land depression over Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring areas had weakened into a distinct low-pressure area. It may move further north-northwest and gradually weaken.
The forecast said light rain could occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions during the 24 hours from 6 pm on Thursday.
Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry, with partly cloudy skies.
The department also forecast that both night-time and daytime temperatures across the country could fall by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
