Hyderabad, Oct 5 (V7N) – South Indian superstar Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna have reportedly taken their much-speculated relationship to the next level by getting engaged in a private ceremony at Vijay’s luxurious Hyderabad residence.

According to a Times of India report, the engagement took place quietly during the festive atmosphere of Durga Puja. Only close family members and a few relatives attended the intimate ring exchange ceremony, with no media presence invited.

Rumors about the couple’s romance had been circulating for years — from secret dinner dates to overseas trips together — though neither Vijay nor Rashmika ever confirmed their relationship publicly.

Sources close to the pair revealed that the engagement marks the official beginning of their journey together, while the wedding ceremony is expected to follow soon.

Rashmika, who began her career in South Indian cinema, has since become a national sensation. Often referred to as India’s “National Crush” and “Expression Queen,” she gained widespread acclaim for her performances in Pushpa and Pushpa 2, as well as her Bollywood debut in Animal.
