Dhaka, Oct 29 (V7N)- The body of former Bangladesh Air Force Flight Lieutenant Tahsif Sauri has been recovered from the Turag River, police said.
The body was recovered from an area near Rajabari Ghat on Wednesday afternoon, October 28, at around 4:30pm, following a call to the national emergency service number 999.
Naval Police personnel recovered the body and later sent it to the morgue at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
Police said the exact cause of death would be determined after the autopsy report is received.
