Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N)- Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmud Tuku is undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the capital after falling ill.
President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited the minister at the hospital on Wednesday morning.
He arrived at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital at around 9:30am and spoke with the attending doctors about Tuku’s health condition.
According to hospital sources, the Energy Minister had been suffering from fever and breathing difficulties for several days.
He was taken to the hospital’s emergency department at around 10:30pm on Tuesday, September 1. Doctors later transferred him to the CCU for further treatment.
