Tehran, April 24, (V7N) — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to begin a critical regional tour today, Friday, with scheduled stops in Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow. The official IRNA news agency confirmed the diplomatic mission, which comes as Pakistan continues to play a mediating role between the Islamic Republic and the United States to de-escalate the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The tour, which begins on the evening of April 24, is aimed at holding high-level bilateral consultations regarding the shifting geopolitical landscape. According to state media, the primary objectives of Araghchi's visits are to discuss regional security developments and review the current status of the war involving the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran.

Diplomatic sources suggest that the stop in Islamabad is particularly significant, given Pakistan's active efforts to facilitate communication between Tehran and Washington. Following his meetings in Pakistan, Araghchi will proceed to Oman—another frequent mediator in regional disputes—and then to Russia to coordinate further with international partners.

The trip underscores Iran’s efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and seek regional consensus as the conflict continues to impact stability across the Middle East.
