May 05 , ( V7N) - Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has Kompany Vows to Stick With Attacking Style Against PSGadvantage after last week’s thrilling 5-4 first leg in Paris, a match hailed as one of the best of the modern era. Kompany, suspended for that game, watched from the stands and said he saw room for improvement but insisted Bayern must not abandon the style that has made them strong.

Already crowned Bundesliga champions, Bayern have scored 116 goals in 32 league games, a record tally in Europe, though they have conceded 16 in their last six matches. Kompany pointed to their resilience against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, when Bayern fought back from behind three times before sealing victory late on.

Joshua Kimmich echoed his coach’s stance, saying Bayern will not suddenly switch to a defensive style: “We have to win, regardless of whether it’s another 5-4, a 3-2, or a 1-0 victory.”

PSG coach Luis Enrique also signaled his side would attack, saying they would need “at least three goals” in Munich despite their advantage. Kompany cited PSG’s bold approach in winning last year’s Champions League as proof that courage pays off.

With Kompany back on the touchline, Bayern will look to outscore PSG once again, aiming to reach the final in Budapest.
