Dhaka, Mar 20 (V7N) – The body of Mosharraf Hossain, a Bangladeshi national who was killed in a missile attack in Saudi Arabia, arrived in Bangladesh on Friday morning. The Saudi Airlines flight SV 806, carrying his body, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10:50 am.
Mosharraf’s family received the body at the airport in the presence of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid was also present.
Mosharraf Hossain, son of Md. Surjat Ali, hailed from Kirttankhola village in Sakhipur, Tangail. He was among the victims of a missile strike on a residential building in Saudi Arabia on March 8.
Authorities and family members expressed deep grief over his untimely death. The government has assured support to his family in this difficult time.
