Dhaka, Mar 20 (V7N) – Like every year, the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram will host five Eid-ul-Fitr congregations tomorrow, Saturday (March 21), according to the Islamic Foundation. The congregations will be held in stages at 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:45 am.

The Islamic Foundation confirmed the schedule on Friday, adding that prominent religious scholars will lead the congregational prayers. In the first congregation, Senior Pesh Imam Maulana Mizanur Rahman will lead the prayer. The second will be led by Pesh Imam Mufti Muhibullahil Baki Nadvi, and the third by Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Maulana Md. Zakir Hossain.

The fourth congregation will be led by Religious Instructor of Imam Training Academy Maulana Zobayer Ahmed Al Azhari, and the fifth and final congregation will be led by Mufti of Islamic Foundation Maulana Mohammad Abdullah. Maulana Shahidul Islam, assistant librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will serve as an alternate imam if needed.

The staged congregations are being organized to manage the large number of worshippers expected at the national mosque, ensuring a smooth and safe Eid prayer observance.
