Dhaka, Jan 14 (V7N) — BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has urged efforts to increase the capacity of commercial organizations to simplify the business environment in Bangladesh. He also emphasized reducing bureaucratic hurdles by entrusting certain service-related works to commercial organizations.

He made the remarks at the inauguration of the Ready-Made Garments and Packaging Exhibition at ICCB on Wednesday morning.

Amir Khasru noted that doing business in Bangladesh remains challenging due to heavy regulations, and pledged that BNP would ensure equal participation for all entrepreneurs.

He further revealed plans to develop Bangladesh as an open investment zone by 2047, aiming to attract both domestic and international investors.
