Dhaka, Dec 05 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Government Employees' Demands and Demands Unity Council has called on the Chief Advisor to publish the gazette of the 9th pay scale by December 15. The demand was made by Waresh Ali, chief coordinator of the organization, during a program held at the Central Shaheed Minar on Friday morning.

The leaders emphasized that no delay in implementing long-standing rights will be tolerated. They demanded that the gazette be published by December 15 and the 9th pay scale be implemented starting January. They also called for the elimination of salary and position discrimination.

The council warned that failure to publish the gazette within the stipulated time may compel the Chief Advisor to resign.

Government employees from divisions, districts, and upazilas participated in the mass gathering to press their demands.
