Dhaka, Aug 31 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has warned that gusty winds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour may sweep across seven districts of the country, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms.
The warning was issued for inland river ports and will remain in effect until 6pm on Monday (August 31).
According to the Meteorological Department, rain or thunderstorms may occur from the south or southeast, accompanied by gusty winds of 45–60 km/h, in Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox's Bazar regions.
In view of the forecast, river ports in the affected areas have been advised to display warning signal No. 1.
The warning applies from 9am to 6pm on Monday, according to the department.
