Dhaka, Jul 23 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thundershowers in Dhaka and its surrounding areas by noon on Thursday (July 23).
According to a weather bulletin issued for the six-hour period beginning at 7:00 am, the capital and nearby areas may experience cloudy to temporarily overcast skies along with rain or thundershowers.
The forecast also said that south to southeasterly winds may blow at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour during the period.
The Meteorological Department noted that daytime temperatures may rise slightly despite the possibility of rainfall.
Weather officials recorded Dhaka’s temperature at 26.2 degrees Celsius at 6:00 am on Thursday, while relative humidity stood at 91 percent.
The department also reported that 30 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Dhaka and surrounding areas during the last 24 hours.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious of possible thunderstorms and temporary weather disruptions throughout the day.
