Dhaka, Jul 05 (V7N) — The government has banned the use of the Prime Minister's photograph on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for official government events, with the directive taking immediate effect.
The Cabinet Division issued a circular on Sunday announcing the decision.
According to the circular, banners, festoons and billboards for government programmes must prioritize the subject matter of the event and present only relevant and necessary information.
It also instructed that the design of such publicity materials should clearly reflect the purpose, message and content of the programme, ensuring that the event itself remains the primary focus.
The Cabinet Division said the directive is of utmost importance and will be effective immediately across all government offices and agencies.
