Dhaka, Mar 21 (V7N) – On the holy day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited the graves of his parents, former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, at Zia Udyan in Dhaka on Saturday around 1 pm.

Accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman, daughter Zaima Rahman, Sarmila Rahman, wife of his late brother Arafat Rahman Koko, and other family members, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the memory of his parents.

After offering Eid prayers earlier in the morning at the National Eidgah Maidan, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman returned to the State Guest House Jamuna to exchange Eid greetings with people from various walks of life. He then proceeded to Zia Udyan, where he stood in silence, offered special prayers, and prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of his parents.

The visit reflects a personal observance of Eid, blending solemn remembrance with the festive celebrations of the holy day.
