Dhaka, Jan 26 (V7N) — The Law Commission on Monday submitted its annual report for the year 2025 to President Md. Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban.

A delegation led by the Chairman of the Law Commission met the President at Bangabhaban on Monday and formally handed over the report.

During the meeting, President Md. Shahabuddin emphasized the importance of updating the country’s existing laws and regulations to keep pace with changing times. He urged the Law Commission to take proactive initiatives in implementing necessary legal reforms aimed at ensuring public welfare.

The Chairman of the Law Commission briefed the President on various aspects of the annual report and outlined the overall activities and achievements of the Commission during the year.

Senior officials of the President’s Office were also present at the meeting, alongside members of the Law Commission delegation.
