Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N) – A fire that broke out in a seven-storey slum in Mohakhali, Dhaka, has been brought under control, the Fire Service reported.

The blaze was reported at 2:37 pm on Wednesday, and three units from Tejgaon Fire Station along with two units from Kurmitola Station rushed to the scene around 3 pm. The fire was successfully controlled by 3:18 pm.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known. Fire service officials said they will provide detailed information later.
