Dhaka, JUNE 03 (V7N) – A team of young Bangladeshi entrepreneurs is poised to revolutionize healthcare accessibility in rural Bangladesh with "Manob Sheba," an innovative online real-time healthcare solutions platform. Developed to address the critical challenges of limited access to quality healthcare and a scarcity of specialized doctors outside urban centers, Manob Sheba seeks to connect the majority of Bangladesh's population with experienced medical professionals and diagnostic services.

The initiative has garnered significant support, securing a coveted spot in the Early-stage Startup Accelerator program under the Digital Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem Development (DEIED) project, a joint undertaking funded by the ICT Ministry of the Bangladesh government and the World Bank.

Manob Sheba's solution employs a multi-pronged strategy to deliver cost-effective and time-saving medical care. A cornerstone of their approach is the "Diagnostic Center Agent Point" (DCAP) model. Under this model, local agents in rural areas will be equipped with essential devices for basic diagnostics, internet access, and telemedicine links. This setup will facilitate the instant upload of medical reports and enable real-time diagnoses by specialist doctors. Furthermore, the platform plans to offer remote consultations with national doctors through its "Specialist Doctors Network."

The problem Manob Sheba aims to solve is significant: approximately 68% of Bangladesh's total population resides in rural areas, often lacking proper medical treatment due to the absence of experienced doctors and diagnostic centers. The "Manob Sheba" app is designed to directly tackle this disparity by enabling rural individuals to easily consult doctors and obtain diagnoses in real-time.

The founding team behind Manob Sheba comprises a diverse group of talented individuals:

MD. JOBAER HOSSAIN BHUIYA: Founder & CEO, holding BBA & MBA from IU, with two years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and partnership building.
PRANTA DHAR: Co-founder & COO, an IBA graduate from Rajshahi University, specializing in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Accounting, and Human Resource Management (HRM).
MD. SIFATULLAH: Co-founder & CTO, a CSE graduate from DIU, boasting two years of experience as a Flutter Engineer and User-Centric Technologist.
SAGOR HOSEN: Possesses four years of experience in software development, a CSE graduate from City University.
FARDIN ALAM: Holds two years of experience in Software Development & Data Engineering, a CSE graduate from East West University.
FAHIM RIMON: Has approximately three years of experience in software development, a CSE graduate from City University.
Manob Sheba has outlined an ambitious growth plan, including a pilot phase slated for Q3-Q4 2025. This initial phase will target 15 Upazilas across Dhaka, Khulna, Chittagong, Rajshahi, and Barishal, with an objective to serve over 3,600 patients. To fuel its technology development, DCAP setup, operations, and marketing efforts, the company is currently seeking pre-seed funding of $400,000.
