Valencia, Sep 06 (V7N)- Barcelona produced a dominant attacking display at the Estadio Mestalla, thrashing Valencia 5-0 in La Liga on Sunday.
Hansi Flick's side took control from the opening minutes, with Lamine Yamal putting Barcelona ahead in the sixth minute.
Fermin Lopez doubled the visitors' advantage in the 22nd minute as Barcelona continued to dictate the match. The Catalan giants went into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Raphinha extended Barcelona's advantage in the 50th minute before Dani Olmo added a fourth goal in the 79th minute.
Yamal completed the rout five minutes from full time, scoring his second goal of the match to seal a 5-0 victory.
The win takes Barcelona to 12 points from four matches, strengthening their position at the top of the table. Real Madrid are third with nine points from four matches.
