Munich, Mar 22 (V7N) – Bayern Munich exacted revenge for the last two seasons with a commanding 4-0 victory over Union Berlin in the Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.
From the kickoff, Bayern pressed hard, dominating possession and keeping Berlin on the defensive. The breakthrough came in the 43rd minute when Michael Oliseh opened the scoring.
Just before halftime, German forward Serge Gnabry doubled Bayern’s lead, leaving the visitors with little chance to respond. After the break, Gnabry scored again in the 67th minute, marking his second goal of the match and Bayern’s fourth overall. English striker Harry Kane also joined the celebrations after scoring in the fourth minute of the second half.
With this emphatic win, Bayern Munich have strengthened their position at the top of the Bundesliga table, now holding 70 points from 27 matches. Borussia Dortmund remain second with 61 points from the same number of games.
