Dhaka, June 7 (V7N) – Members of the Bangladesh national football team offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers on Saturday morning (June 7) at a mosque in Paribagh, near their team hotel in the capital. Among those seen at the prayer congregation were Hamza, Fahmidul, and team captain Jamal Bhuyan.

The footballers, currently in camp for their upcoming international match, appeared in white Punjabis provided by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). They joined the 7:00 am Eid congregation together, reflecting unity and spiritual devotion on the sacred occasion.

Following the prayers, several players spoke to the media, expressing their desire to bring joy to the nation by winning their upcoming match against Singapore. “We want to give the countrymen an Eid gift — a victory on the field,” one of the players said.

Though the national team will resume practice at 5:00 pm on Eid day, the BFF has allowed the players free time until 2:00 pm. Those who wish to visit their families briefly were permitted to do so before returning to training.

The Bangladesh team is preparing intensely for their upcoming fixture, and spirits remain high within the camp as they balance festivities with their professional commitments.
