Mongla, Dec 07 (V7N) – National Citizens Party (NCP) candidate and party joint chief organizer Molla Rahmatullah launched his election campaign in Mongla on Saturday evening. Starting from Shahadet Mor in the town, he visited various shops and streets, distributing campaign leaflets to local residents. The campaign was supported by local NCP leaders, activists, and party supporters.

During the campaign, Rahmatullah expressed surprise at the strong local support, saying that he had not realized the extent of backing they enjoy. “The people are welcoming us warmly. Our party was formed to fulfill the aspirations of the citizens. Those who tried to establish fascism are now in Delhi, not in our land. If anyone attempts to bring back fascist politics, they will be opposed firmly,” he said.

The candidate emphasized his commitment to building a political environment free from intimidation and oppression, promising to counter any attempts to revive authoritarian practices in the region. Rahmatullah’s campaign in Mongla aims to strengthen the NCP’s presence and engage with voters ahead of the upcoming elections.
