Pabna, Aug 12 (V7N) — Four educational institutions in Bangladesh’s Pabna district have recorded a zero pass rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, with all 60 candidates from the institutions failing.
The institutions are Magura Dakhil Madrasa and CKB Alim Madrasa (Vocational Branch) in Bhangura upazila, Harovanga Islamia Dakhil Madrasa in Faridpur upazila, and Mahela Mahila Dakhil Madrasa in Chatmohar upazila.
Of the candidates who appeared, 19 were from Magura Dakhil Madrasa, seven from CKB Alim Madrasa (Vocational Branch), 14 from Harovanga Islamia Dakhil Madrasa and 20 from Mahela Mahila Dakhil Madrasa.
Pabna District Education Officer Abdur Razzaq confirmed the results, saying authorities would investigate the reasons for the poor performance and take appropriate measures based on the findings.
