Dhaka, Aug 10 (V7N)- A total of 669 educational institutions across Bangladesh have achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations.
All candidates who participated in the examinations from these institutions passed.
On the other hand, 312 educational institutions recorded a 100 percent failure rate. None of the candidates who appeared from these institutions managed to pass.
A total of 30,402 educational institutions participated in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.
The number of institutions achieving a 100 percent pass rate has declined significantly compared with last year. In 2025, 984 institutions recorded a 100 percent pass rate, while 134 institutions had a 100 percent failure rate.
This year, therefore, the number of institutions with a 100 percent pass rate fell by 315, while the number of institutions where all candidates failed increased by 178.
Meanwhile, the results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations were published simultaneously across all education boards at 10 am on Monday (August 10).
The average pass rate across the nine general education boards stood at 64.05 percent this year, down from 68.04 percent in 2025. The pass rate consequently declined by 3.99 percentage points compared with last year.
