Dhaka, Aug 10 (V7N)- The wait for the results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations is over today, Monday. Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon is scheduled to officially inaugurate the results at 10am at the conference room of the Ministry of Education.

Students will be able to access their results online, through their respective educational institutions and via SMS. The results will also be available through the central websites eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.

According to a notification from the Ministry of Education, chairmen of all education boards will hand over the results to the education minister during the inauguration ceremony.

Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Dr. Syed Akhtaruzzaman said the SSC and equivalent examination results would be published simultaneously at 10am. Results will also be available on the respective education boards’ websites.

Students can check their results via SMS by typing SSC, followed by the first three letters of their education board, roll number and examination year, separated by spaces, and sending the message to 16140.

For example, Dhaka Board candidates should send: SSC DHA ROLL YEAR. Madrasa Education Board candidates should use SSC MAD ROLL YEAR, while Technical Education Board candidates should use SSC TEC ROLL YEAR. The charge for each SMS is Tk 1.39, including taxes.

A total of 18,57,344 students registered for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 14,18,398 students registered under the nine general education boards, 3,04,286 under the Madrasa Education Board and 1,34,660 under the Technical Education Board.

Students who are dissatisfied with their results will be able to apply for re-scrutiny from August 11 to August 17. Applications will be submitted online, according to instructions issued by the respective education boards.

Educational institutions will also be able to download students’ results from the designated websites using their institutional EIIN numbers.

Students can therefore collect their results from the central websites, the websites of their respective education boards and their educational institutions. Results will also be available through SMS services at 16140 and 16222.
