Dhaka, Aug 09 (V7N) – The wait for this year's SSC and equivalent examination results will end on Monday (August 10), with the results scheduled to be published simultaneously across the country at 10am.

Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon will formally inaugurate the results at a ceremony at the Ministry of Education's conference room at 10am. Chairmen of all education boards are expected to hand over the results to the education minister during the ceremony.

Candidates will be able to check their results through the websites of the respective education boards, educational institutions and SMS services.

The results will also be available through the two common websites: eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.

Candidates can check their results through SMS by opening the message option and typing SSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of the education board, the roll number, the examination year and sending the message to 16140.

For example, Dhaka Board candidates will use the format SSC DHA ROLL YEAR. Madrasa Education Board candidates should use SSC MAD ROLL YEAR, while Technical Education Board candidates should use SSC TEC ROLL YEAR.

Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, including applicable taxes.

According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 18,57,344 students registered for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 14,18,398 students registered under the nine general education boards, 3,04,286 under the Madrasa Education Board and 1,34,660 under the Technical Education Board's SSC (Vocational) examination.

The results of the respective boards will also be published on their official websites, while educational institutions will be able to download students' results using their institutional EIIN through the designated system.

Re-scrutiny Applications from August 11

Students who are dissatisfied with their results will be able to apply for re-scrutiny from August 11 to August 17.

According to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, applications will be submitted online, with detailed instructions available on the websites of the respective education boards.

Candidates will also be able to obtain their results through SMS services at 16140 or 16222, in addition to the online platforms and their educational institutions.

With the publication of the results, millions of students and their families across the country will finally learn the outcome of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.
