DHAKA, July 29 (v7n) – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions, with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," said the BMD warning commencing from 9am this morning.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, while today's minimum temperature was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius in Kumarkhali under Khulna division.

Today's sunset in the capital is at 6.43pm, and tomorrow's sunrise is at 5.27am.
