Tahirpur, Aug 15 (V7N) – Religious Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain has assured that the people of Bangladesh are vigilant and there is no possibility of communal unrest surrounding the upcoming national elections.

He made the remarks on Friday afternoon while inspecting the construction work of the Sri Sri Advaita Temple Complex in Laureghor, Tahirpur Upazila.

Dr. Hossain emphasized that the national elections will be conducted in a fair, free, impartial, and festive atmosphere at the schedule announced by the government. He added that the current administration will return to its previous role after handing over power to the elected government.

The Religious Advisor also noted that preparations, including training and organization of police forces, have already begun to ensure smooth and secure elections.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Ilyas Miah and other local administration officials were present during the inspection.
