Speaking at the election headquarters of his Likud party in Jerusalem, Netanyahu stressed that Israel must seize the opportunity to remove the Iranian threat permanently.
“Together with our friend President Trump, Israel has a historic, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to eliminate the Iranian threat forever,” he said.
Reflecting on Israel’s previous confrontations with its adversaries, Netanyahu asserted that the country had defeated its enemies in the past and would continue to do so in the future.
During his remarks, he also criticized political parties that have expressed willingness to cooperate with Arab political factions. Netanyahu described such cooperation as “shameful,” questioning how politicians who align themselves with groups he accused of attacking Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers could claim to be committed to those serving the country.
The Israeli prime minister also criticized the ongoing investigations against him, describing them as “politically motivated criminal investigations.”
Netanyahu concluded by reiterating his confidence in Israel’s ability to confront its adversaries, maintaining that the country had overcome challenges before and could do so again.
Following his speech, Netanyahu joined in with the music playing at the Likud party’s election headquarters.
