Dhaka, Oct 16 (V7N) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka late Wednesday night for a routine medical check-up.
According to Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, she left her Gulshan residence at 11:40 PM on Wednesday, October 15, and arrived at the hospital around 12:20 AM on Thursday.
This marks Khaleda Zia’s first regular health check-up since August 28, when she underwent her previous medical examination. Hospital authorities have confirmed that the visit was purely for routine assessment and that no critical condition was reported.
Khaleda Zia, who has previously faced ongoing health concerns, continues to receive regular medical attention to monitor her well-being. BNP officials emphasized that her admission is part of a scheduled health evaluation and urged the public to avoid unnecessary speculation.
