Dhaka, Sep 21 (V7N) – Ganadhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur is set to travel to Singapore on Monday (Sept 22) for advanced medical treatment. He will be accompanied by his personal physician, Dr. Sajjad Hossain, party sources confirmed.
Party Office Secretary Shakil Uzzaman said that Nur is leaving on his doctor’s advice and sought prayers from the people of Bangladesh for his swift recovery.
On August 29, a violent clash erupted between Ganadhikar Parishad and Jatiya Party activists in front of the Jatiya Party’s central office at Kakrail. During the chaos, law enforcement conducted a baton charge, leaving several people injured, including Nur.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital the same evening, where an emergency medical board was formed and placed him under intensive care. Later, a 10-member specialist board oversaw his treatment until his release on September 15, when he returned home.
Nur’s upcoming treatment in Singapore marks the next step in his recovery process following the injuries sustained during the incident.
