Dhaka, July 13 (V7N) – Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar has strongly condemned recent incidents of mob killings in Bangladesh, comparing them to the brutality of the "era of ignorance" before the advent of modern civilization.

Speaking at a professional conference at the Institution of Diploma Engineers in the capital on Saturday, as part of preparations for the party’s July 19 national rally, Parwar said, "People have been killed with stones in Bangladesh in a way that mirrors the era of ignorance. Those who incited this brutality will carry the weight of these stones for a long time."

He urged Jamaat members and supporters to unite in making the July 19 rally a historic event. "We want to create history through this rally and deliver a strong message for a new Bangladesh," he said, calling for peaceful participation and discipline from party activists.

The Jamaat-e-Islami leader also issued organizational directives to ensure the success of the upcoming gathering, which is expected to be one of the largest since the July movement.
